Delta State(2004)

Delta State is a Canadian animated series that follows four amnesiac roommates who discover they can enter an ethereal realm called the Delta State. As they work to recover their lost memories, they must battle the Rifters—mysterious beings determined to control the human mind. The show debuted on Teletoon in September 2004 and became the first animated television series to be entirely rotoscoped, a painstaking process that took over 27 months to complete. Based on Douglas Gayeton's comic book and directed by Gayeton himself, Delta State blends science fiction mystery with surreal action. The French-Canadian co-production, developed by Alphanim in Paris and produced by Nelvana Canada, later aired on Canal+ in France from March 2005.
