Alive and Kicking follows Mickey L'Angelo, Guada, Yeray, Lucas and Samuel, five young people who escape a psychiatric center determined to find their place in the world. Despite their clinical diagnoses, they navigate life with humor and resilience, convinced that society's failings run deeper than their own struggles. The group embarks on a cross-Europe journey to locate one member's brother while managing their daily medical challenges. Along the way, they pursue acceptance and independence, turning their adventure into a search for meaning and connection.
