Skirts

Skirts is an Australian police drama that aired on the Seven Network in 1990. The series followed female officers navigating crime and duty in a male-dominated force. Produced by Roger Le Mesurier and Roger Simpson, Skirts ran for three seasons with 40 episodes filmed across the year. Though the show aired from April to September 1990, only 26 episodes were broadcast; the final 14 episodes never screened on the network. Directed by Brendan Maher, Richard Sarell, and Ian Gilmour, Skirts captured the tensions and camaraderie of women working in law enforcement during the early 1990s.
