Scam is a Russian series about three brothers—Vanya, Kostya, and Danila Popov—who have terrorized their village for years. When the coronavirus pandemic forces them into lockdown, the residents finally experience peace. As quarantine ends, the villagers make a bold decision: they won't tell the brothers that isolation is over. What begins as a collective deception spirals into an elaborate scheme involving all 200 residents, each invested in maintaining the lie. But secrets are fragile. When the youngest Popov falls for a visiting nurse from the city, the entire plan teeters on collapse. As tension mounts, the villagers scramble to protect their newfound tranquility, racing against time before the truth unravels and consequences catch up with them all.
