Good Morning Shanghai is a drama series following You Hao Yun, a kind-hearted Korean girl whose name means "fortunate"—a cruel irony, as misfortune trails her relentlessly. Haunted by childhood tragedy when her brother died saving her, Hao Yun carries deep family wounds she can't escape. Seeking a fresh start, she and her friend Xiao Mei rent an apartment in Shanghai, only to discover their estate agent has vanished with their deposit. Stranded in an unfamiliar city with mounting problems, Hao Yun must navigate loss, betrayal, and the weight of survivor's guilt while building a new life from nothing.
