Tandarra(1976)

Tandarra is an Australian television series set during the Victorian gold rush of the 1850s. This 1976 follow-up to Cash and Company aired 13 one-hour episodes on the Seven Network in Australia and London Weekend Television in the UK. The show follows Joe Brady and Jessica Johnson as they manage Tandarra, Jessica's sprawling homestead, alongside Ryler, a former bounty hunter turned ally. Unlike its predecessor, Tandarra abandons the fugitive plot that drove Cash and Company, instead focusing on the daily adventures and challenges of running a large farming property during Australia's gold rush era. The series marks a shift in tone, moving away from the law-and-order tension of the original to explore frontier life and pastoral drama.
