I Have Not Done My Best is a South Korean series following Nam Geum Pil, a man in his forties who abruptly quits his job despite living with his elderly father and young daughter. Unfazed by family disapproval, he drifts between freeloading off friends and searching for purpose. When he discovers his seemingly unemployed neighbor is actually a successful webcomic writer earning substantial income, Nam Geum Pil finds unexpected inspiration. He decides to pursue comics himself, launching an unlikely career pivot that challenges his family's expectations and forces him to confront what it means to finally do his best.
