The Legendary Hero Is Dead! is a fantasy comedy series following Touka, a daydreaming farmer in the village of Cheza who fantasizes about heroic glory and romance. While the actual hero, Sion, battles demons threatening to invade the world, Touka accidentally kills him. Panicked, Touka buries the body to cover his tracks—only to wake the next morning trapped in Sion's corpse. Now forced to assume the legendary hero's role, Touka must navigate a world of demons and danger while hiding his true identity and incompetence. The series blends absurdist humor with fantasy adventure as an ordinary man stumbles into extraordinary circumstances, discovering that saving the world is far more complicated than he imagined.
