Pequena Travessa(2002)

Pequena Travessa is a Brazilian telenovela that aired on SBT from November 2002 to April 2003. Adapted from the Mexican series Mi pequeña traviesa, the story follows Júlia, a determined young woman forced to abandon her college dreams when her father suffers a paralyzing accident. To support her struggling family, she disguises herself as a boy and secretly sleeps in a department store where she cannot afford proper lodging. There she meets Alberto, the wealthy heir to the business, and the two fall in love despite mounting obstacles: family disapproval, class conflict, and the machinations of those intent on separating them.
