Techno House Deutschland traces the rise of Germany's electronic music scene from the 1990s onwards. The series begins at Sven Väth's legendary Omen club in Berlin, exploring how techno and house music transformed the country into a global epicenter for electronic culture. From Leipzig's emergence as an eastern hub to the creation of massive festivals like Nature One, the documentary reveals how a thriving underground movement spread far beyond major cities. Through interviews with pioneering DJs and producers—including Väth, Monika Kruse, Paul van Dyk, Anja Schneider, and Matthias Tanzmann—Techno House Deutschland examines why these genres took such powerful root in Germany and became a defining force in international dance music.
