Crusade is an American science fiction series set in the Babylon 5 universe. Five years after the original show's events, Earth faces extinction: the Drakh have unleashed a nanovirus plague that will destroy all life on the planet within five years unless a cure is found. The military dispatches the Victory-class destroyer Excalibur on a desperate mission across space to locate any technology or knowledge that might save humanity. Created by J. Michael Straczynski, Crusade follows the ship's crew as they race against time to prevent catastrophe, blending space opera action with high-stakes survival drama.
