Yukio in Tokyo is a series about an unlikely household. Yukio, a sentient snowman, moves in with Midori's family after they're discovered by the government following a devastating typhoon that destroyed their mountain home. Now working at the family's supermarket in Tokyo, Yukio struggles to adapt to city life—the unexpected warmth, the vending machines, the crowds of people he once feared. When Akane suggests a tour of the capital, Yukio ventures into unfamiliar territory, marveling at urban wonders. His coworkers find him puzzling, unable to quite understand this peculiar new colleague. Tension builds as an unexpected incident threatens to unravel the fragile peace Yukio has found with his adopted family.
