The Nine O'Clock News Murder(1976)

The Nine O'Clock News Murder is a Norwegian crime series set in the NRK television studio at Marienlyst. When bank manager Hugo Oswald collapses and dies from poison during a live broadcast, detectives Helmer and Sigurdson are called to investigate. Anchor Kjell Tue and control room director Totto Osvold witness the shocking murder firsthand. As the detectives dig deeper, pensioner Brockmann, Oswald's neighbour, becomes a key figure in uncovering what happened. The series weaves together the worlds of live television and criminal investigation, following the hunt for a killer who struck in front of thousands of viewers.
