Stayer(2024)

Stayer is a Norwegian drama series about Even Elstad, a former rock star who abandoned his hometown of Eidsvoll years ago to chase stardom. After a tragic accident, he's forced to return and take custody of his estranged 16-year-old daughter, Annie, whom he hasn't seen in years. Even must navigate the tension between his music ambitions and unexpected fatherhood, while Annie struggles to trust a man who once left her behind. As Even settles back into the small-town life he desperately fled, both father and daughter must confront their hurt and learn whether they can rebuild their fractured relationship. The series explores redemption, second chances, and the messy reality of reconnecting with family.
