My Worst Friend is a Japanese series about Hotaru, a struggling college senior who can't land a job. Her childhood friend Miharu is everything she isn't—clever, confident, and perpetually successful. Desperate to escape her losing streak, Hotaru decides to reinvent herself during job interviews, adopting Miharu's persona to pass the initial screening. What starts as a one-time deception spirals into a web of lies as Hotaru continues the charade through round after round of interviews.
