A Cool Change(2023)

A Cool Change is a Russian drama series following Andrey, who abandons his teaching career for a failed business venture in Moscow. Desperate to salvage his finances, he plans to sell the family house—a historic property once inhabited by Pushkin—but needs his imprisoned father's permission. To reconcile with his estranged parent, Andrey takes an unconventional approach: he lands a teaching job at the prison's evening school while simultaneously working as a literature teacher at a regular secondary school. Juggling two worlds, he inspires teenagers by day and inmates by night, discovering that danger and human complexity exist in both classrooms.
