Taelgia(2023)

Taelgia is a Swedish drama series that follows Gabriel, a newcomer to a housing project in Södertälje, who befriends Marko, the charismatic leader of a crew of street runners. What begins as mentorship quickly reveals the dangerous underbelly of their world when a critical mistake triggers consequences from higher-ranking criminals. The series weaves together the lives of families, police, and criminals trapped in the same neighbourhood, each caught between competing loyalties, mounting pressure, and the weight of guilt. As tensions escalate, the characters face impossible choices that test their bonds and force them to confront the true cost of survival in a world where one wrong move can unravel everything.
