Mrs Sidhu Investigates is a British crime comedy series following a sharp-witted widow who runs a high-end catering business by day and solves murders by night. Recently bereaved, Mrs Sidhu juggles her fledgling company with keeping her directionless son Tez on track, but her real passion lies in exposing criminals who think themselves untouchable. She forms an unlikely partnership with DCI Burton, a cynical divorcee who initially resists her meddling but soon recognizes their investigative chemistry. Together they make an unexpectedly formidable team, much to the frustration of Burton's by-the-book partner, DS Mint. The series blends cosy mystery with sharp humour, proving that a good meal and sharper instincts can crack any case.
