Omoikkiri Detective Team Hardgumi(1987)

Omoikkiri Detective Team Hardgumi is a Japanese comedy film and the seventh entry in the Toei Fushigi Comedy Series. Five gifted children—Hiroshi, Satoru, Susumu, Takeo, and Yasuko—each possess unique talents ranging from computer skills to martial arts expertise. When Hiroshi creates a phantom character called Matenrou on his computer and the group films a video about it for their school, the fictional villain mysteriously becomes real. Matenrou steals Hiroshi's computer and challenges the children to retrieve it. Accepting the dare, the five friends form their own detective squad, "Hard Gumi," to track down the phantom and recover the stolen machine. What follows is a lighthearted adventure blending mystery, comedy, and youthful teamwork as the young detectives pursue their supernatural adversary.
