Back to My Roots is a comedy series following four generations of the Abramovich family living under one roof in a Jewish household. Despite living next to a synagogue, most family members have drifted from tradition and faith—Boris runs a pork business, his son David hides his Jewish identity from friends, and his wife Alla embodies every stereotype without realizing it. Only Grandmother Musa remains devoted to her heritage. Everything shifts when Boris is struck by lightning and encounters the spirit of Haim, a cantankerous ancestor from generations past. Haim reveals he committed a grave sin that cursed the entire family, and only Boris can break the spell by freeing his restless soul. The series blends family drama with supernatural elements as the Abramovichs navigate identity, tradition, and redemption.
