Querer is a Spanish drama series that unfolds when Miren walks into a police station with her lawyer to accuse her husband of repeated rape throughout their 30-year marriage. Publicly, the couple appeared perfect. Her husband denies the allegations and positions himself as the wronged party, outraged by the accusation. Their two sons face an agonizing choice: the elder sides with his father, driven by his own fears and guilt, while the younger stands with his mother, having witnessed the invisible violence that defined their home. The series explores how trauma fractures families and challenges the narratives we construct around marriage and consent.
