I Hate People, People Hate Me is a Canadian series following two twenty-something outsiders in Toronto's queer community. One is a chubby gay man; the other is a misanthropic trans girl—neither fits the polished "ideal gay image." As they navigate their lives, both characters clash with society and their own community, nursing grievances against a world that seems determined to disappoint them. Yet the show doesn't let them off easy. Jaded and quick to judge, this pair proves they're far from blameless themselves. The series balances dark humor with genuine frustration, exploring what it means to exist on the margins of a marginalized world.
