Jeanne's Judgment is a Japanese drama series following Eichizen Gotaro, a single father secretly behind the popular shojo manga pen name Sanpuu Minami. When the court appoints him as a prosecutor's office examiner, he tries to decline, citing his looming manga deadline, but the request is rejected. Forced to serve alongside eleven other randomly selected citizens, Gotaro initially resents the Prosecution Review Board duty. Each juror brings distinct personality and perspective to their work. As Gotaro engages with the cases before them and learns the human stories beneath the legal proceedings, his cynicism gradually transforms. He discovers unexpected meaning in the responsibility, recognizing how ordinary citizens shape justice. The series balances Gotaro's dual life as artist and civic participant while exploring how jury duty can fundamentally change someone's worldview.
