Classified is a coming-of-age series following Ella, a teenager uprooted from her life in the US and sent to South Africa to live with her father and his new family. Torn from her mother and thrust into an unfamiliar culture, Ella must navigate the complexities of being an expat in a foreign country while adjusting to her father's remarriage. As she grapples with displacement and identity, she discovers unexpected friendships and challenges that force her to grow beyond her comfort zone. The series explores themes of belonging, family dynamics, and self-discovery against the backdrop of South African life, capturing both the isolation and possibility that comes with starting over in a place you never chose.
