Tender Is the Night(1985)

Tender Is the Night is a 1985 television drama miniseries set on the French Riviera in the 1920s. Based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1934 novel, the six-part series follows psychiatrist Dick Diver and his wealthy wife Nicole Warren, whose fragile marriage is tested when young American actress Rosemary Hoyt joins their expatriate circle. As Dick grows attracted to Rosemary, Nicole's mental illness spirals, threatening to unravel the group's carefully balanced world. The miniseries explores themes of love, ambition, and the erosion of the American Dream through the eyes of characters caught between glamour and despair.
