Kamitsubaki City Under Construction is an anime series set seven years after a catastrophic disaster that nearly wiped out humanity. The city has rebuilt itself as a beacon of scientific advancement and prosperity, yet darkness festers beneath its gleaming surface. Tesseractor monsters—creatures born from human despair and corruption—threaten the fragile peace. Five girls known as the Witchling possess the Song of Purification, a mystical power that lets them combat these creatures through music. As they battle to protect their city, they discover their true mission extends far beyond defense: healing a fractured world and the broken hearts of its people. The series blends magical girl action with post-apocalyptic themes, exploring how hope and unity can emerge from devastation.
