Vow of the Phoenix

Vow of the Phoenix is a historical drama set in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. After eunuchs assassinate General Dou Wu, his daughter Dou Ling is the sole survivor. She assumes a false identity as "Yan Huang" and infiltrates Caiyi Fang, a faction controlled by the very eunuchs responsible for her father's death. Her mission is revenge against Zhang Huan and Cao Jie, the architects of the massacre. Armed with intelligence and cunning, Dou Ling maneuvers closer to her targets while constantly risking discovery. The series follows her dangerous game of deception as she balances her thirst for vengeance with the precarious threat of exposure in a court rife with political intrigue and deadly consequences.
