Blue Submarine No. 6(1998)

Blue Submarine No. 6 is an anime series following a rogue scientist named Zorndyke who has engineered a race of aquatic creatures designed to destroy humanity. Convinced that humans must be stripped of their dominion over Earth, Zorndyke unleashes his creations on the world's oceans. The Blue Fleet, led by the submarine Blue Submarine No. 6, must stop Zorndyke and his biological weapons before civilization is wiped out. The series blends military sci-fi action with underwater warfare as the crew faces an enemy that challenges both their tactical skills and their understanding of what life itself can become.
