Die Stadt im Tal is a German series set in Lugtal, a picturesque town nestled between hills where half-timbered houses define the landscape. Local politicians and passionate citizens oppose the plan, advocating instead for restoring the historic old town. Against this backdrop of civic conflict, two brothers emerge as central figures: Fridolin, a conformist who accepts the status quo, and Max, a rebellious idealist who challenges it.
