Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior is an American police procedural drama that aired on CBS from 2011. Spun off from the original Criminal Minds, the series follows a new FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit team based in Quantico, Virginia. The team profiles and hunts dangerous criminals across the country. The show was introduced via a backdoor pilot in season five of Criminal Minds, where the original team collaborated with the new unit to catch a San Francisco serial killer. Though the spin-off ran for only one season, it maintained the psychological crime-solving formula that made the parent series successful, focusing on criminal profiling, investigative procedure, and the psychological tactics used to outsmart killers.
