Malchik Moy(2019)

Malchik Moy is a Russian drama following Asya, whose five-year-old son Antoshka dies in a devastating fire. The tragedy destroys her marriage and plunges her into severe depression and suicidal despair. A year later, a firefighter named Nikolai tells Asya that no remains were found in the ashes, igniting a fragile hope that her son might still be alive. Desperate to believe Antoshka survived, Asya becomes obsessed with finding him, though everyone around her dismisses her conviction as delusion. Only Nikolai supports her search. The series explores grief, maternal love, and the thin line between hope and denial as Asya pursues an impossible truth that could either save her or destroy what little remains of her life.
