3 Dong 3 Dong(2011)

3 Dong 3 Dong is an Iranian drama series following Nosrat Eshghi, who has run a family bakery in Tehran's old quarters for decades alongside his three sons. The shop is split in half—Nosrat owns three sections, while his longtime partner Parviz owns the other three. After a decade abroad in Italy, Parviz returns to Iran intent on selling his stake. Desperate to keep the bakery intact, Nosrat scrambles to raise the money to buy him out. But as he pursues this goal, a series of unforeseen events upends his world, forcing both Nosrat and his family to reconsider their future and contemplate leaving Iran themselves. The series explores themes of legacy, sacrifice, and the difficult choices families face when tradition clashes with circumstance.
