Pure in Heart(2006)

Pure in Heart is a Korean drama following Yang Gook-hwa, a nineteen-year-old country girl who leaves her home in Yanbian for Seoul to marry Hong Soon-goo, the third son of a respectable family. When she arrives, she learns her fiancé has died in a car accident. Rather than return home, Gook-hwa chooses to stay in Seoul and build a new life, supporting herself while sending money back to her aunt and uncle. The series traces her journey of resilience and reinvention as she navigates an unfamiliar city and discovers her own strength in the face of tragedy.
