Xenosaga: The Animation(2005)

Xenosaga: The Animation is a sci-fi series set in T.C. 4767, four thousand years after humanity left Earth. Mankind faces extinction from the hostile alien Gnosis, and Vector engineer Shion Uzuki has developed KOS-MOS, a powerful android built to combat the threat. When their ship is destroyed in a Gnosis attack, Shion and her crew are thrown into a desperate conflict where the lines between allies and enemies blur. The series follows their struggle for survival as they navigate a complex war with unclear allegiances and mounting stakes.
