The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency(2006)

The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency is a reality series that aired on Oxygen from 2006 to 2009 across four seasons. The show follows self-proclaimed supermodel Janice Dickinson as she launches and runs her own modeling agency, which opened in November 2005. The first season documents the challenges of building the agency from scratch: scouting talent, training models, securing funding, and establishing credibility in a competitive industry. Later seasons track the agency's growth and evolving roster of models. Many of the male talent represented are openly gay, and several of the agency's clients cater to the LGBTQ+ market, giving the series a distinctly gay-themed focus. Oxygen also produced a holiday special, Christmas with the Dickinsons, between seasons one and two. A planned British adaptation featuring supermodel Paula Hamilton was set for Living TV but was ultimately canceled due to weak interest in the American version.
