Webster(1983)

Webster is an American sitcom that aired on ABC from 1983 to 1987, then in syndication until 1989. Created by Stu Silver, the series stars Emmanuel Lewis as Webster, a young orphan taken in by his godfather, an NFL player played by Alex Karras, and his glamorous new wife, portrayed by Susan Clark. The show centers on how this impulsive couple navigates sudden parenthood while Webster himself becomes the emotional heart of the family. Much of the humor derives from their culture clash and learning curve as they adjust to raising a child.
