My-Otome(2005)

My-Otome is a sci-fi anime series set on the distant planet Earl, where nanomachine technology grants virgin women the power to become elite warriors called Meister Otomes. These skilled fighters serve royal courts across competing kingdoms. Arika Yumemiya arrives at Windbloom Kingdom searching for her missing mother, who was herself an Otome. She enrolls at Garderobe Academy, where she befriends the kingdom's princess Mashiro and encounters Nina Wáng, the academy's top student. As Arika trains to master her newfound abilities, she becomes entangled in a dangerous conspiracy. Powerful forces seek to control the ancient technology for their own ambitions, putting the kingdoms and everyone Arika cares about at risk. The series balances Arika's personal quest with escalating political intrigue and high-stakes magical combat.
