American Inventor(2006)

American Inventor is a reality competition series that aired on ABC, created by UK entrepreneur Peter Jones and produced alongside Simon Cowell and the American Idol production team. The show pitted inventors against each other to crown America's best innovator. The first season premiered on March 16, 2006, with Janusz Liberkowski winning after presenting the Anecia Safety Capsule, a child safety seat inspired by the human womb. Greg Chavez, a firefighter, took the second season title in 2007 with his Guardian Angel fire suppression system for Christmas trees. Despite initial momentum, American Inventor was cancelled in 2008 and removed from ABC's fall schedule, ending its brief run after just two seasons.
