The Wings of Rean(2005)

The Wings of Rean is a sci-fi anime series that follows Suzuki, a fugitive hunted by the US Army and police after his friends launch a rocket into an American military camp. When the sea mysteriously rises and a flying battleship emerges from brilliant light, Suzuki is swept aboard and meets Lyx, a princess from another world. She reveals her father is Japanese—Shinjiro Sakomizu—and begs for Suzuki's help. Based on the novel series by Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino, the story blends action, adventure, and otherworldly intrigue as Suzuki finds himself caught between two worlds and an unexpected destiny.
