Us & Them is a romantic comedy about two people navigating the messy reality of long-distance dating. Gavin, a pharmaceutical copywriter in New York, and Stacey, a printing press employee in Pennsylvania, have been flirting online for months before finally arranging to meet—with their best friends along for a double-date safety net. What starts as a promising connection quickly gets tangled up in the expectations and anxieties of their inner circles. Stacey's family worries she'll abandon Pennsylvania for city life, while the couple discovers that making a relationship work is far easier than managing the friends and family who come with it. The film explores how love doesn't exist in a vacuum, and sometimes the real obstacles aren't between two people—they're everyone else around them.
