Houston Knights(1987)

Houston Knights is an American crime drama that aired on CBS from 1987 to 1988. Chicago detective Joey LaFiamma is transferred to Houston after killing a mobster and drawing a contract on his life. There he's paired with Levon Lundy, a Texas Ranger's grandson, and the two couldn't be more different. Their rocky partnership transforms into genuine friendship when a Chicago hitman arrives to collect the bounty—only to be stopped by Lundy. As they work cases together, both men confront their haunted pasts: LaFiamma carries guilt over his partner's death, while Lundy struggles with the loss of his wife in an explosion meant for him. The series explores how two cops from opposing worlds find common ground through danger and shared trauma, creating an unlikely alliance forged in the streets of Houston.
