Defiance is a science fiction series set in a transformed Earth after seven alien races arrive and reshape the planet. In the frontier town of Defiance, humans and extraterrestrials struggle to build a functioning society together. The show follows the uneasy relationships, political tensions, and personal conflicts that emerge as these diverse species attempt coexistence. With the arrival of the aliens came new technologies, new threats, and new possibilities for survival. The town becomes a melting pot where old prejudices clash with the necessity of cooperation. Defiance explores what it takes to forge peace when two worlds collide and must learn to live as one.
