Nyoron! Churuya-san(2009)

Nyoron! Churuya-san is a comedy series following Churuya, a girl obsessed with smoked cheese. Kyon and his friends exploit her weakness relentlessly, dangling cheese as reward while making her complete increasingly difficult tasks. Churuya remains oblivious to their scheme, driven solely by her desire for her beloved snack. What she doesn't realize is that obtaining the cheese proves far harder than she anticipated. Each episode chronicles her daily struggles as she chases her passion, only to find herself manipulated by those around her. The series plays on absurdist humor and the running gag of her single-minded devotion, creating comedy through her earnest efforts against the group's calculated exploitation.
