The Left Wing Gang(2009)

The Left Wing Gang is a Danish series following the true story of seven radical activists charged with orchestrating Denmark's most sophisticated robberies in 1989. The gang funneled millions of stolen kroner to the PFLP, a Palestinian militant organization, to fund anti-Israeli operations. Jan Weimann, the suspected ringleader, concealed his criminal activities from his wife and inner circle while evading capture. Police superintendent Jørn Moos led an intense investigation to dismantle the network, risking his career to bring the gang to justice. The series explores the collision between ideology and criminality, revealing how ordinary people became entangled in international political violence during the Cold War era.
