Buffalo Governance(2012)

Buffalo Governance is a Thai series that pits tradition against progress through two clashing protagonists. Jaidet, son of a powerful politician, has chosen buffalo farming over his family's expectations, caring for his animals as fiercely as friends. Soranut works as an engineer for tractor manufacturer Cabaty, dating Wat, the owner's playboy son who hides his infidelity behind a facade of commitment. When Soranut dismisses buffalo farming as outdated, she and Jaidet find themselves at odds—he defending his rural heritage, she championing modern mechanization. Their conflict becomes personal as ambition, family pressure, and competing visions of Thailand's future collide on the farm.
