Blood Lad(2013)

Blood Lad is a supernatural anime series following Staz, a vampire ruling over a corner of the chaotic Demon World, who meets Fuyumi, an ordinary human girl who stumbles through a portal into his realm. When a carnivorous plant kills Fuyumi and traps her as a ghost, Staz takes responsibility and vows to restore her to life. The series blends dark comedy with action as Staz navigates the absurd dangers of the Demon World alongside his new ghostly companion, encountering eccentric allies and obstacles in their quest for resurrection.
