Hwajung is a historical drama following Princess Jungmyung, whose privileged life shatters when her half-brother Prince Gwanghae murders the rightful crown prince and seizes power. Forced into exile, Jungmyung disguises herself as a man and builds a new life among commoners, nursing her desire for revenge. As corruption spreads through the kingdom, she must navigate a dangerous path between her thirst for vengeance and the chance to restore order to the realm.
