Rewrite is a supernatural mystery series set in Kazamatsuri, an eco-conscious city where nature and civilization coexist in harmony. When the annual Harvest Festa arrives—a sprawling festival that transforms the town into chaos—journalist Tennoji Kotaro sees an opportunity to investigate the strange rumors circulating through the streets. Unidentified creatures have been spotted, and occult phenomena plague the city. As Kotaro digs deeper into these mysteries, he discovers that the supernatural disturbances are closer to home than he expected, affecting him directly. Blending slice-of-life moments with genuine horror and intrigue, Rewrite captures the tension between Kazamatsuri's idyllic facade and the darker forces lurking beneath its surface.
