The Starlet(2005)

The Starlet is a reality competition series that aired on The WB. Ten aspiring actresses lived together in Marilyn Monroe's former home, competing in acting challenges for a chance to win a role on the WB drama One Tree Hill and a management contract with 3 Arts Entertainment. Hosted by Katie Wagner, the contestants faced a judging panel featuring actresses Faye Dunaway and Vivica A. Fox, alongside casting director Joseph Middleton. Created by Jamie Kennedy, the show featured guest appearances from Jaime Pressly, Matt Cedeño, David Gallagher, and Adam LaVorgna. Eighteen-year-old Michelynne McGuire ultimately won the competition, with Mercedes Connor finishing as runner-up. The series was cancelled after just one season of six episodes in 2005.
