Einstein(2017)

Einstein is a German drama series following Felix Winterberg, the great-great-grandson of the legendary physicist Albert Einstein. Felix is himself a brilliant researcher, but he's racing against time: a deadly hereditary disease means he has only years to live. Determined to maximize his remaining years, Felix throws himself into his work with obsessive intensity, turning to illegal stimulants to fuel his productivity. The series explores the collision between genius and mortality, ambition and ethics, as Felix pushes himself to the brink in pursuit of scientific breakthrough. It's a tense character study about legacy, desperation, and the price of genius.
